We completed the last of the four sessions this past Thursday, with Nick teaching POIMA as an approach we can take in studying the Word and applying the methodology. It has been an awesome four weeks thus far and we are very excited about the upcoming Bible Study in the New Year!
We have added two sessions to the schedule which will take place in the next two weeks before the two weeks break over the holidays. Please continue to press into what was presented in the course so we can all come together in the New Year and really press into God's Word and bring about change both in our lives and the lives around us!!!

This page offers resources for the four week course on Bible Study Methods taking place at Elevate. Below you will find downloads for both the curriculum and resources as well as the audio and links to video for each of the sessions. The syllabus and course introduction below provide more insight into the course.
Here is the current schedule for the sessions:

Session 1 - 11-05-09 - The Bible as the Word of God
Session 2 - 11-12-09 - The Principles of Bible Study Methods
Session 3 - 11-19-09 - The Grammatical/Historical Method of Bible Study
*Thanksgiving Break
Session 4 - 12-03-09 - The POIMA Approach to Bible Study
Session 5 - 12-10-09 - Bible Study Structure and general discussion. Group Application in book of Philemon.
Session 6 - 12-17-09 - Tentatively scheduled to be an optional session with possible guest presentation by Jason Petersen. Should be good!
