Main Objective(s)

  • Take the lead in introducing our innovative, upcoming product, including strategy, marketing and sales plans, and the distribution channels
  • Design, develop, and implement innovative programs to engage customers, generate leads, and drive growth in support of immediate and long-term business goals
  • Engage the customer to solicit market perspectives to make strategic recommendations and direction to optimize new campaigns and product launches
  • Lead in the development and implementation of the company’s brand strategy
  • Provide market research, forecast, competitive analyses, campaign results, and industry trends
  • Implement brand awareness and deliver brand-consistent messaging
  • Be the highly motivated, multi-facetedMarketing Manager to reach new customers.
  • Demonstrated success in business development and downstream marketing positions that are customer facing combined with market execution and strategic vision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Understand market trends, healthcare professional (HCPs) preferences, competitive strategies, etc. and use this knowledge to guide development of plans and projects
  • Conduct research to analyze trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape, and prepare reports by colling, analyzing, and summarizing data
  • Coordinate marketing activities by using your expertise in areas such as digital media, content development, optimization, and advertising
  • Analyze campaign results, conversion rates, website and social media traffic to improve future marketing activities
  • Engage the customer to solicit market perspectives to make strategic recommendations and direction to optimize new campaigns and product launches
  • Support the sales team in all marketing & sales support needs
  • Coordinate marketing collateral development in support of new product launches
  • Support the creation of updates of packaging and product related support materials
  • Coordinate and participate in key conferences and meetings as necessary
  • Maintain strong relationships and rapport with customers
  • Work cross functionally as needed (product development, sales operations, regulatory, sales and finance) to accomplish objectives.
  • Provide training of other associates and or new team members
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Education/Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, advertising, or communications
  • 5or more years of experience in marketing or product management for consumer goods, medical device or equivalent experience
  • Experience in creating digital and traditional marketing, content development, optimization, and advertising
  • Experience in creating and implementing marketing and product launch plans
  • Enthusiasm for innovative solutions to marketing and sales
  • Exceptional organizational, prioritization and execution skills
  • Ability to work independently and report to our CEO plus collaborate with our co-founders and across our organization
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with and communicate with all levels
  • Strong communicator and ability to lead group meetings and webinars
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and capability to work independently
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively and consistently meet deadlines
  • Critical thinker with strong attention to detail, and ability to problem solve and establish solutions in a high-growth and fast-paced environment
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Teamplayer
  • Orthopedic / Sports-medicine medical devices industry experience is an advantage but not a necessity
  • Start-up and new product introduction experience is a bonus
