Kim De Roy named CEO of Elevate Movement
Elevate is excited to announce that Kim De Roy has been appointed as CEO of Elevate Movement, effective January 23rd, 2023. He succeeds Matt Hollister, who will assume the role of COO.
Throughout his career, Kim has worked in various global positions in the field of Orthotics and Prosthetics (O&P). During his 17 years at leading orthopedics manufacturer, Össur ehf, he held leadership roles across sales, marketing, and R&D, while living in Iceland, Belgium, and California. Kim’s clinical background combined with a deep understanding of the O&P landscape will contribute greatly to Elevate’s next phase of growth and development.
“The vision of Elevate Movement to allow O&P professionals to deliver more effective solutions with an improved sense of urgency and an unmatched operational efficiency has given me an entirely different perspective on care for those suffering with drop foot” says Kim. “I look forward to sharing my findings on this new Elevate journey with all the O&P friends and professionals I had the pleasure to work with in the past.”
Arni Thor, Elevate co-founder, adds, “Kim brings a tremendous amount of experience, vision and expertise to Elevate and strengthens our position as an innovator in the industry. As a practicing clinician, Kim really understands the clinical need of the end user. I have no doubt that his vision for Elevate will inspire clinicians around the world to think differently about the way they provide care to those living with drop foot."
“I couldn’t be more excited for our next stage of growth with Kim’s leadership,” added Kelly McGee, Vice President of Product. “Our products and solutions have already impacted thousands of clinicians and patients, improving mobility and promoting more efficient clinic operations. As we scale into the future, Kim’s expertise will be critical to ensuring we can multiply the impact of our current products and future innovations.”
The Elevate team is looking forward to an exciting future under Kim’s leadership as we continue our mission to empower a healthier world through movement. We are also very pleased that Matt Hollister will continue to strengthen the supply chain infrastructure, quality systems, and internal operations at Elevate so that we can continue to provide the high-quality products and services our providers and users have grown to love.
